Crimson Bound - Rosamund Hodge

And the medal for the big disappointment of the year _ so far _ goes to... this book.

The first paragraph is good. After that, the whole thing is a train crash.

Undeveloped world building. I can't understand half of the supposed lore.

This is supposed to take place in a wanna be court of Louis XIV, the King Sun which allows for some unnecessary pages of "all that is beautiful and shiny"  descriptions.

The girl, the main character who is supposed to come out strong, but instead comes out as idiotic.

Where is the retelling?

I'll grant you there are some forms of Wolfs in the story, but a Red Riding Hood?

o_O

Oh, and too much talks about religion -_- Jesus, could I be more bored?

What next?

Joan Of Arc?
