This is one of the most convoluted books i've ever read!
The author has a very lively imagination, i'll grant her that. But she goes all over the place with it. It's just too much!!
I don't have anything negative to say regarding the writing, but the story is a mess.
The characters are the embodiment of "classic" cliches when it comes to paranormal romance.
The male character plainly put...is an ass.
In our days he can be considered the personification of a toxic personality. He's moody, obsessive, possessive,you know a classic psychopath.
Romantic, right?
Emma, well Emma is this poor girl who has had this obnoxious voice in her head since she was a kid.
It disappeared for a while, but once the girl started showing interest in guys, there the thing appeared again! Like a tooth ache.
The most remarkable aspect about Emma as a main character?
She's strong...if i had that voice in my head for A DAY, i would bash my head against something hard...permanently!
I thought this was going to be a fun, quick read. Instead i got absurd and silly instead.
