Reading progress update: I've read 20%.
About twenty percent read, and I need to start a new book o_O because unlike what happened with Jasper Dent volume I, this one isn't holding my attention.
The characters just feel more Ya, and somewhat silly, compared with the way they behaved in the first book.
Howie coming on to Jasper's aunt? Say what? o_O
Then there's Connie...o_O
Then I find somewhat weird that the police would want the help of a seventeen year old,_Yes, I Know who is father is _ and would grant him access to all the crime scene material.
When that happened in his small town, with the cop who knows him, and all that...I felt that that was believable.
